Small pop up campsite open summer holidays this year. Four good sized pitches with great views of the surrounding fields, nearby Quantock Hills and alpacas at the bottom of the site. A simple eco-conscious campsite with a compost toilet, an outdoor hot shower shack and a washing up area. Options to book one of two grass pitches or one of two fully kitted out 6 metre bell tents with a double bed and two singles sleeping four.

Set on a four acre field behind a small farmhouse there are far reaching views of both the Quantock and the Blackdown hills, both areas of outstanding natural beauty. You will have ample space to unwind with friends, family and a small herd of alpacas. There are two large grass pitches and two fully furnished Bell Tent pitches. Campfires are encouraged with each pitch including a fire pit. Your fully furnished Bell Tent has proper full sized beds and mattresses. Quality pillows, duvets and sheets are provided, but please bring your own towels. Teddy blankets are also provided to cosy up on a colder night. There is a coffee table and floor cushions inside the tent. Outside you can enjoy cooking and eating alfresco with a fully equipped private outdoor kitchen, picnic table and bbq. You will have everything you need with a gas stove, plates, glasses, pots, pans etc. As the sun goes down you can light a camp fire, relax in your chairs and look up to the stunning night sky. Close by there is a compost toilet. There is also a gas powered hot shower with natural wash products provided, and a sink to brush your teeth and wash your face. In the farmyard there is a washing up area which also has a fridge and freezer for you to use and sockets to charge your electricals.

You will be located in some truly beautiful countryside where only the sound of birds, horses and the odd tractor passing by will disturb you. You will be staying on the edge of a night sky area which means that on clear nights you will be treated to a truly remarkable evening of star gazing.

There is a footpath that runs through the farm which you can take to the picturesque villages of Kingston St Mary, with a fantastic pub (The Swan) 2 miles, or to Bishops Lydeard, 2 miles, with lots of local amenities, including an excellent brewery and a steam train that will take you out to the coast on a day trip. For a more strenuous hike you can follow the footpath to the top of the Quantock Hills and escape into nature with views as far as Wales and towards Glastonbury.
